Happy New Year!
Heres wishing anyone possibly reading Club Lefty a Happy New Year. I believe to the depths of my soul that this year is so very important to our nation. This is the year we may begin to rein in our imperial president, or that he is given carte blanche to continue this disaster until 2008. So Happ New Year and lets go to work.

Well, I would agree that President Bush is a bit out of control. Out of control in regard to trampling on our rights as Americans, excessive spending, and allowing for the widespread use of torture in the name of evidence gathering.
I don't know if you saw the latest 20/20 report by John Stossel or not. He was busting many modern day myths such as the one about Repbulicans tending to shrink "Big Government". Definitely a myth! I talk about that on my blog(which I made some cosmetic changes to btw).
I imagine the Republicans will cry "Liberal Media" to that but, the other myths he busts are usually associated with the left. It kinda brings doubt to the "bias" arguement.
Ken(Bhfrik), I hope you and Carrie had a Merry Christmas and will have a prosperous and fulfilling New Year in 2006.
